NEW CONDITION

This artwork uses basic geometric shapes, such as triangles, squares, and circles, as symbols representing physical suffering, which originates from the body, such as illness, injury, and the deterioration of the body. Mental suffering, on the other hand, is caused by the mind’s perceptions. The work depicts virtual images of people tormented by illness, with their faces obscured by various symbols. When viewers engage with the artwork, these images respond to the light of a flashlight, symbolizing the search for an escape from suffering. This light causes the virtual images to retreat to their origin, symbolizing a return to the source of suffering. The artwork does not provide a clear method for alleviating suffering but encourages viewers to explore their own minds and discover symbols or methods for alleviating suffering in their own way.

ผลงานนี้ใช้รูปทรงเรขาคณิตพื้นฐาน เช่น สามเหลี่ยม สี่เหลี่ยม และวงกลม เป็นสัญลักษณ์แทนความทุกข์ทางกาย ซึ่งเป็นทุกข์ที่มาจากร่างกาย เช่น ความเจ็บป่วย ความบาดเจ็บ และความเสื่อมสภาพของร่างกาย ในขณะที่ความทุกข์ทางใจก็เกิดจากการปรุงแต่งของจิตใจ ผลงานแสดงภาพเสมือนของผู้คนที่ทรมานจากความเจ็บป่วย โดยใบหน้าถูกบดบังด้วยสัญลักษณ์ต่างๆ เมื่อผู้ชมเข้ามามีส่วนร่วม ภาพเหล่านี้จะตอบสนองต่อแสงไฟฉาย ซึ่งแทนการค้นหาทางออกจากความทุกข์ แสงนี้ทำให้ภาพเสมือนถอยกลับไปยังจุดเริ่มต้น สื่อถึงการกลับไปหาจุดกำเนิดของทุกข์ ผลงานนี้ไม่ได้ให้วิธีการดับทุกข์ที่ชัดเจน แต่กระตุ้นให้ผู้ชมสำรวจภายในจิตใจตนเอง และค้นหาสัญลักษณ์หรือวิธีบรรเทาความทุกข์ในแบบของตนเอง
